Identity crises aren’t that unusual. All throughout our lives and we wonder: Who are we? This sort of question is completely natural in human development. Most people come up with their own answers to these questions through internal dialogue, they tell themselves who they are.
But that may not be the correct way. We can talk and talk all we want, but at the end of the day we may not end up being the person we claim to be. The only way to be that person is to do what we say we’re going to do. The only way to define ourselves is through our actions.
