Daydreaming has gotten a bad rep because it is considered a “frivolous activity” and a waste of time. Anyone who loves to daydream has been labeled a slacker. The reason it is frowned upon is because the society pressures us to be productive all the time. We’re always pushed to achieve and succeed.
What people do not realize is that daydreaming can actually be beneficial. Strangely enough, it can help boost productivity. It can also show us a wide range of possibilities and opportunities that may not be apparent if we’re always focused on reality.
