It is a scenario that’s all too common for many of us–someone holding onto something that’s killing him because it’d kill him to let go.
But you know what, letting go will not kill you. Holding onto it forever might one day do.
It’s typical in relationships. If you’re stuck in a bad relationship with a person who you think loves you but just can’t stop hurting you because of some “inevitable” reason, it’s about time that you realize that you are not seeing things clearly.
A person who loves you will not hurt you, or at least not do so in a consistent manner. It’s not a perfect world out there and some people would step on your toes a few times but if it happens too often, or it becomes a regular thing, then you should be smart enough to detect a bad relationship.
Letting go might be the most difficult thing for you to do. But once you’re over that, you will be so happy and relieved that you did. You’ll be thanking yourself nonstop from saving yourself from a lifetime of misery and tragedy. There’s no such thing as a perfect relationship but it doesn’t make it okay to stick to a really bad one.Image Source: pinterest.com
