Now this is something we should read and re-read each and every day. Materials have taken over our lives. Technology is fun and exciting and has replaced relationships. Shopping seems like a more popular activity than dinner with your family. It’s time to take note of the real aspects of our lives; not the things.
What is your favorite non-thing in life? Can you even name one? Make a list. This is a good exercise to see how wrapped up you are in material items. Take time to look at a sunset. Take a walk. Talk with friends (without texting during the entire interaction). Enjoy the best things in life–that aren’t things.
