This may sound like a simple notion. It certainly sounds like something my kindergarten teacher repeated: “Don’t worry about what he or she is doing. Just worry about your own work.” This quote is not necessarily about tattling kindergarten students, but it certainly spreads the same message.
If you spend your time thinking about how much or how little someone else has done, your taking precious time from your own goals and life. Don’t let others’ accomplishments pressure you. And definitely don’t let others’ mistakes distract or obsess you. You are responsible for your own accomplishments and challenges, so start paying attention to yourself today!
